Sebastian Lattuga, M.D., F.A.A.O.S

Dr. Sebastian Lattuga is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon with over two decades of experience in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of spinal disorders. He specializes in traumatic and degenerative conditions, including herniated discs, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, and fractures.
Dr. Lattuga completed his medical degree at Stony Brook University School of Medicine, followed by a general surgery internship and post-doctoral research fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He then pursued an orthopedic surgery residency at Stony Brook University Hospital. Further advancing his expertise, he completed an adult and pediatric spine surgery and pain management fellowship at Jackson Memorial Medical Center, University of Miami.
Recognized for his exceptional patient outcomes, Dr. Lattuga was ranked in the top 1% of spine surgeons in the New York metropolitan area by Press Ganey, based on patient satisfaction surveys. He is proficient in advanced surgical techniques, including minimally invasive procedures, fusion surgery, and decompression surgery, tailoring treatments to meet individual patient needs.
Dr. Lattuga serves as the Chief of Spine Surgery at New York Spine Specialists and holds clinical appointments at Weill Cornell Medical College and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. He is affiliated with multiple hospitals, including Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus, NJ, and Northwell Health in Valley Stream, NY.
