Dr.Aryeh Berlin

Dr. Aryeh Berlin joined Elite Specialty Care PC in 2020 as an affiliated provider of our practice and is our Director of Behavioral Health. He is a New Jersey licensed clinical psychologist specializing in motor vehicle accident-related trauma, Utilizing research backed modalities. Dr Berlin treats accident-related psychological conditions including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, phobias, panic attacks, anxiety, and pain management. In this role, Dr. Berlin focuses on accident victims and making their return to the world successful and productive. Dr. Berlin earned a BA in Psychology University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He completed his masters and doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Georgia School of Professional Psychology a program accredited by the American Psychological Association. Prior to graduate school Dr. Berlin volunteered in Israel at Retorno- a residential adolescent addiction treatment. Graduate training included community mental health centers and youth detention centers. He was also a case manager and lead therapist in the youth services department of the Ridgeview Institute, a prominent psychiatric hospital in Georgia.
Dr. Berlin completed his clinical internship training at South Shore Mental Health in Quincy, MA where he was accepted into a highly selective and competitive program accredited by the American Psychological Association. His training focus was on treatment-resistant childhood severe emotional and behavioral disorders. His post doctorate training focused on motor vehicle accident-related trauma. Dr. Berlin is currently the Director of Counseling in a private school where he has worked for a decade and the Director of a private practice that focuses on motor vehicle accident trauma and childhood emotional and behavioral disorders. Dr. Berlin has published research on family-based wilderness therapy interventions and has lectured on parenting, trauma, and child development. Dr. Berlin also lectures on several topics related to accident trauma to audiences including attorneys and mental health professionals. Dr. Berlin is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association, APA Division 42- Psychologists in Independent Practice , and APA Division 53 -Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, The New Jersey Psychological Association (NJPA), and the Northeast Counties Association of Psychologists (NCAP). Outside of practice, Dr Berlin enjoys spending time with his wife and children, reading and hiking.
